Join us for a discussion of Historic Fiction books.

Historical fiction literature is a vital educational tool that brings history to life by fostering empathy and emotional connection, transforming dry facts into relatable stories. It allows students to step into the shoes of characters from diverse backgrounds, helping them understand complex historical events, social contexts, and human experiences more deeply.

Participants are encouraged to bring your favorite historic fiction to share, too!

A bibliography of all books discussed, and more, will be shared with attendees following the event.

When: Tuesday, April 28, 2026, starting at 7 PM

Where: Via Zoom

The discussion will be led by Karen Brungard and Bonnie Yanklowitz.

A reminder with the Zoom link for this event will be sent on Monday, April 27 to all registered attendees by  about Noon.
