The Language and Literacy Spectrum is a peer reviewed journal which is published annually for NYSRA's membership. Those submitting articles should keep in mind that the NYSRA membership consists primarily of practicing teachers and literacy specialists. While theoretical and research articles are invited, the editors also encourage articles related to classroom practice, as well as book reviews of professional texts and children’s literature. While theoretical and research articles are invited, please keep in mind that this is a journal for the NYSRA membership, which consists primarily of practicing teachers and literacy specialists. We encourage articles from K-12 practitioners as well as articles written by authors and presenters from the 2020 virtual sessions and the 2019 conference.
