Full Conference or Sunday registrants will work with some wonderful presenters and delve deeply into targeted topics
5 Mini Institutes
Colleen Murtagh Paratore – will present a practical and fun writing workshop for teachers of grades 2 – high school. Fireflies will give teachers  deeper understanding of how writing can be practical, specific and fun!

Tiffany S. Powell – will engage teachers of grades 3-9 in a hands-on session, Full STEAM Ahead, devoted to promoting instruction and pedagogy in science, technology, engineering, arts and technology.

Laura Robb – will work with upper elementary and middle school teachers to help provide tools and strategies to meet the needs of our struggling readers.

Kathleen A. Gormley and Peter McDermott – will provide upper elementary and middle school teachers with some tools and strategies to address the current issue of “Fake News” as our students continue to navigate the web.

Vicki Cobb (The Julia Childs of hands-on science) and authors from INK (Interesting Nonfiction for Kids) Think Tank will engage the teachers of our early learners in an engaging, hands-on session about our approach to science and the use of non-fiction texts with our young learners.
