Council Service Award Winners

Criteria--The recipient must have been a member in good standing of the nominating council for at least five years.  The person must have been continually active in local council activities, must have made significant contributions to local council programs, and is a staunch supporter of the goals of the New York State Reading Association.

The following persons were recognized as Council Service Award Winners at the Assembly of Delegates on September 18, 2004 at the College of St. Rose:

Anna Burger - Amy Bull Crist Reading Council

Jane Dionne - Ulster Reading Council

Pat DeLessio - Mid Hudson Reading Council

Patricia Parkinson - Niagara Frontier Reading Council

Victoria Ring - Suffolk Reading Council

Debbie Dermady - Greater 1000 Island Literacy Council
